Rising New York Road Runners Jamboree Presented by Tata Consultancy Services (Spring)

 

Join us on Randall’s Island at Icahn Stadium, home of some of New York City's premier running events, for track and field action! We’ll have fun games, activities, and running events that your kids will love. This event is open to Stage 1 and 2 participants and is a perfect way to introduce boys and girls to the world of track and field.

Stages

The chart below is a guide to the stages available at this event. Use the chart to determine the appropriate stage for your child. If you need help determining your child's stage, contact [email protected].

Stage 1 events will take place in the morning, and Stage 2 events will take place in the afternoon.

Activities

This event will include the following activities:

For all ages:

  • Hip-Hop Dance
  • Cheer Signs/Arts & Crafts
  • Selfie Station

For ages 2-4

  • Shop and Dash: Athletes complete timed runs between stations while collecting objects that teach participants how to build a healthy meal.
  • Egg in Spoon: Athletes balance an egg-shaped object on a spoon while navigating a course to practice balance and coordination.
  • Bean Bag Toss: Athletes toss beanbags of various weights into hoops to practice throwing techniques.

Number Pickup & Registration

Numbers may be picked up on-site on event day only from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Show the QR code from your confirmation email or your My NYRR account to pick up your materials. Please pick up during the week to avoid crowds on event day. Numbers will be available on event day from 8:00 to 1:00 p.m. Event-day lines may impact your ability to get to the start on time. T-shirts, the souvenir for this event, will be available for pickup on-site on event day only at Race-Day Central and are subject to availability.
